Steve grew up in Huber Heights, Ohio and started attending Way of the Cross Church, in Riverside, at a very young. After graduating high school he attended Central Bible College for one year and eventually completed his undergraduate degree from Logos College. In 2013 he completed his Masters in Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary. He enjoys reading, doing projects around the house with Shannon and being outdoors.
Shannon grew up in a military family. She lived in Germany, Texas, Nebraska, and Ohio twice before her dad retired in Dayton, Ohio. After graduating high school she attended Asbury University for a year and half and eventually completed her undergraduate degree from Wright State University. In 2009 she completed her Masters in Educational Leadership from The University of Dayton. Shannon currently works as the Mentoring Program Director for the Miami Valley Leadership Foundation in Dayton, Ohio, but is very passionate about being an active partner and supporter of Steve's ministry opportunities. She enjoys spending time with her family, being creative with crafts and home projects, and going on walks.
Steve and Shannon were married March 16. 1996. They have loved doing ministry together as a team, but their first ministry has always been to their family. They have five amazing children: Rachel, Leah, Hailey, D'andre, and Josiah.
